Photographing the air gap without photographing secrets
Auditors increasingly ask for visual proof that the signing machine has no live network path. Teams respond by snapping the whole desk—including screens with hashes, emails, or worse.
Shoot the cables, blank the glass
Our evidence pack template calls for four angles: rear ports, floor cable run, media tray, and a wide shot with monitors powered off or showing a solid color. Never include sticky notes with PINs in frame. Crop liberally.
Timestamp the set
Store photos with ceremony IDs, not personal phone camera rolls. A shared drive with retention rules beats a chat thread that auto-deletes. Pair photos with the hash manifest so the story is complete.
